My Story

My career began in 2018, straight out of my Master’s program, working in foster care. For four and a half years, I worked with some of the most vulnerable children and families, providing case management and crisis intervention to children and foster parents, and later offering individual counseling and parent coaching to birth parents. During that time, I learned what it truly means to walk alongside someone in their darkest hour.

I later transitioned into group practice, where I provided individual psychotherapy to adults navigating mood disorders, relationship stressors, and unresolved childhood trauma. I completed advanced training at Loyola University’s Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy, specializing in psychodynamic and relational therapy—two modalities I continue to practice today.

After several years of clinical work and advanced training, I made the decision to open my own private practice. I wanted to create a space that felt grounded and relational, where clients could slow down, feel understood, and do meaningful long-term work.

I am passionate about viewing each client holistically. Through a psychodynamic lens, we explore your early experiences and attachment patterns to better understand the roots of your current symptoms. Healing happens within relationships, including the therapeutic relationship, and our work together becomes a space to build insight, self-compassion, and meaningful change

I value collaboration and often work alongside a client’s broader support team, whether that includes psychiatry, a registered dietitian, primary care provider, OB-GYN, or other specialists. Everything in our lives begins with the relationship we have with ourselves. Together, we will examine how you speak to yourself, your thought patterns, and how you show up in your daily life.

When I’m not working, you can find me at home with a good book and a matcha, trying new restaurants around the city, or taking long walks with my dog, Simba.

Continued education and professional growth are among my core clinical values. Throughout my career, I have supervised interns and pre-licensed clinicians in both clinical and academic settings. I also believe in giving back to your community. I currently serve on the Young Professionals Board at the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center, where we raise funds and awareness to support educational programming that teaches universal lessons to combat hatred and indifference.
